Principles
Six rules we built Tempo around.
We wrote these before we wrote any code. If a feature breaks one of them, we don't ship it.
Encrypted rules
Your doorbell list says a lot about you. It's end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read it either.
No ads, ever
We make money from subscriptions. There's no ad SDK in Tempo and there never will be.
Delete means delete
Close your account and everything on our side is gone within 30 days, backups included.
Plain-English permissions
Every permission Tempo asks for comes with one sentence on why. Say no and it still works.
Checked by others
Independent security reviews twice a year. Our SOC 2 Type II audit is under way.
